The ladies are starting a weekly Bible Study / Book review on Thursday mornings. The first meeting is September 17; call Irene Sclater or Rose Gadd for more details.
There will be no Sunday meetings at the School for the next four weeks. Instead, we will be meeting on Friday nights at the Gadd's house, 1701 Oughton Drive, Port Coquitlam. We'll be having potluck meals, sharing, worshiping, and just hanging out during these Friday meetings as we look to build and strengthen our community.
There will be no Sunday meetings in August as we take a break for the summer. Feel free to use this time to visit other churches in the area or meet with others
Langley Vineyard is hosting an event for all the BC Vineyards called "VineyardFest". You can find out all of the information you need to know by clicking here for the brochure, or read more on our Events page.
Due to the long weekend and a number of people being away, there will be no service at the school on August 5th. Here's a good chance to join in with some of the other congregations in our community.
On Sunday June 24 we will be celebrating the end of the school year with a potluck lunch and a time of meeting together. If you haven't been contacted yet about something to bring, please phone Rose Gadd. If you're a visitor or planning to drop by, please feel welcome to just attend and share in the food -- no need to bring anything!
We have a special recording available online of the worship band from the New Years Eve service featuring several of our young people, and quite possibly the Biggest Ever Band TriCity has had. You can download the audio file here (mp3, 14MB) and there's also a short video clip here (quicktime, 5MB). Thanks to Vicki for the picture and the video, and well done to all who were involved!
Don't forget that the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are due back at church this Sunday, November 12th. Two weeks hence, on November 26th, we will be collecting the money saved for the Waines family, so don't forget these important dates!
A big woohoo to Jeanette Armstrong for submitting her photos from Family Camp this year. You can see numerous pictures of folks on the waterslide as well as some other great shots of our yearly summer event by clicking here
Congratulations to Vern and Virginia Gratto who were married on Saturday, June 17 in Surrey. All of us at TriCity Vineyard wish Vern and Virigina all the best as they begin married life together.

Gary Best, National Team Leader for Vineyard Canada, recorded a talk about building a "Vision Community", a blueprint for establishing a local church. We have audio versions available to listen to -- you can click on the links below to download the MP3 files which you can then listen to on your computer. Please be aware that these files may take a bit of time to download if you are using a dail-up connection.
The Super Happy Fun youth event scheduled for January 27th has changed. Instead of a mall scavenger hunt (where part of the objective would have been to avoid mall security), we're going to Missions Fest instead. See the Events page for details.
